April Fool’s Day Annoucement

On April 1st, we launched a fake dating app for plantain lovers. We expected a few laughs, maybe some eye rolls, and then everyone moving on with their day.
That is not what happened.
500+ people of you signed up. People filled out the plantain-inspired dating quiz with genuine conviction. Arguments broke out in the comments trying to guess if this was real or another prank. Someone DM'd us to say they sent the link to their single friend who genuinely expected to match with their very own plantain-loving gentleman.
We weren't ready for that. But we weren't surprised either.
Because here's the thing - plantain does that. It brings people together before anyone has had to try. It's the delicious smell that hits you when you walk through someone's door and you immediately feel at home. It's the thing on the table at every birthday, every graduation, every Sunday that mattered. It's not just food. It never was.
The prank is over. The club isn't.
